Precision Training Environment
The Frasca AATD replicates real-world flying conditions with responsive flight controls, configurable weather, and realistic avionics layouts. This high-fidelity environment lets you practice procedures, approaches, and decision-making without burning Hobbs time.

Scenario-Based Learning
Run through complete flight profiles, from engine start to shutdown. Reset instantly to practice departures, holds, approaches, or emergency checklists until every step becomes second nature.

Safety You Can Rehearse
Simulate abnormal and emergency situations you canβt safely practice in the aircraft. Engine failures, instrument malfunctions, diversions, and weather challenges prepare you to stay calm and in control when it matters most.

Integrated Into Your Training
Our CFIs align simulator sessions with your current stage of training. Whether youβre prepping for first solo, sharpening your instrument scan, or tightening up for a checkride, the Frasca accelerates your learning curve.
Frasca Flight Simulator FAQs
Do I need an orientation before using the Frasca?
Yes. A short orientation is required before your first session. Your CFI will cover controls, avionics layout, and how we run scenarios so you can make the most of your time.
Can I log simulator time toward my training?
Yes. The Frasca is an FAA-approved Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD). Time may be loggable under AATD allowances when applicable and when flown with a CFI. Your instructor will advise how it applies to your current goals.
What is the hourly rate?
The Frasca starts at $50/hr. Dual instruction, if requested, is billed at the current CFI rate in addition to the simulator time.
What is included in my block time?
Your reserved block includes access to the Frasca simulator. If flown dual, instructor time is added at the CFI rate.
How long do I have to use purchased block hours?
Block hours must be used within 12 months, or the agreed upon preiod. We recommend scheduling sessions to align with your current training stage for the best results.
Do I need a membership to book the Frasca?
No membership is required. The Frasca is available to both Aspire students and renters.
